Super lights G is .040 E is .095. and he sets it to super low action. I'd say he has a slightly shorter scale than the standtard as well(though I don't know for certain). It would be impossible to play this stuff if you didn't have low action(and even at that, its ALMOST impossible)

Cliff used thicker strings. I think it was Rotos. I prefer to use light gauge myself so stuff like this isn't out of reach. Victor would have a much more difficult time playing this without the lighter gauge strings. You're entitled to your opinion. But I think super Light gauge still has plenty of punch for rock and metal while still being able to play technical jazz stuff.

Cliff stuff isn't that hard without light gauge. Bends are harder but I find the other stuff he does not impossibly harder. Definitely alot easier with lights though. But Victor wootens double handed stuff is actually impossible for me to play unless I have really low action and lighter gauge. He plays with that set up himself

There used to be an incredible video of Victor Wooten playing, "Norweigian Wood" that I can no longer find on You Tube anymore. He was on stage by himself with no audience and it was amazing. I've found other videos of him playing the song but can't find that specific video, which was the best performance I've seen him do. I think the video might have been removed from You Tube for whatever reason.
