the day after my father's 21st birthday, it was the season opener for Candlestick Park. He graduated from UCSF Pharmacy School in 1963. Born/raised/still lives in Bakersfield, CA. Longtime Giant's fan. We shared the moment that night watching the game.

I love the scene at the end of the NLCS Game 6 where Posey has a priceless look of joy on his face and Ryan Howard is just standing there in disbelief. We showed those East Coast teams where it's it.

@kizazzle I do too. :) I just had to put a bunch of angles of that moment in this. Nobody thought we could make it, and we came out and dominated (the Phillies said it's cause they didn't hit -- they didn't hit cause of our pitching!). I was so excited for this year, but all the injuries were awful. Next year will be awesome!

The Giants did it last year to win the 2010 world series. Although we had an ok year this year we will be back in the playoffs next year. No doubt. Now it's time for the niners to step up this year. I'm happy for them to off to a a 5-1 start.

@novanation2727 hey man giants managed to finish 10 over .500. i'll call it a successful season when you look at our dl for the year. theres a pic and as of august 16, 2011 there were 21 people on the dl with it being the second time for a few players. looks like howard will be out for 2012 lol anyways, lookin forward to the giants vs phillies series next year

@gdfobmcrsum41 It was practically a miracle that they were even above .500 in the playoff conversation at all considering how many players they lost. I don't even want to think about what this season could have been like without so many injuries... it's too depressing to think of the possibilities... haha
