I'm a big fan of highlighting and defining using translucent shimmer and bronzer or a powder in a slightly darker shade. Along with applying blush to the apple of your cheek, take the bronzer and suck in your cheeks and apply lightly to the concave portion sweeping back, then take the highlighter and apply in a sweeping motion just below your eye along the top of you cheek. This is perfect for rounder faces and defining your cheek bones.
