check out hickock45, type (hickock45 g27 230) in the search bar. he is shooting a glock 27, which is a .40s&w like your ruger. but instead of 20 feet like you, he is at 690feet (230 yards). also they both have about the same length barrel (the glock is shorter by a fraction of an inch or so)

The only thing missing are some key pointers:

1) Wave your gun back and forth; this allows you to cover multiple targets at once

2) In order to increase accuracy, tilt the gun to the left (if you are right handed) by 90 degree. This is a tactical approach to gun handling that the pros don't want anyone to know about

3) You do not need a conceal/carry permit in order to carry your handgun in your waistband or pocket
