My issue with the pacifist achievement is that certain enemies are killed even if you use the stun-gun/peps/dart

And using the melee take down is problematic since it costs you a full battery clip.

@Worldslargestipod Yes I noticed that too, it's totally annoying when u stun a guy and he misteriously dies. Non-lethal take downs are more safe, except if you'r trying to do Foxiest and Pacifist at the same time like I tried but ofc failed Pacifist probably for a stun kill :S

I just finished my second playthrough, dedicated pacifist. I got foxiest of the hounds but not pacifism :( I wonder if it was some random death like this? I was so pissed.

@cbeasley02 i failed my foxiest, the wording is unclear whether you cant set any alarm off, or alerted any guards. I know that machine, turrets and camera cannot go hostile or red otherwise you fail

When I achieved foxiest (I played again and got Pacifist without much trouble) I know for a fact that I did not allow one single guard or camera/turret to go into hostile mode. I definitely got many "alerted" upon luring guards, and of course the scripted areas that cause perma altert status, but anyhoo. Make sure you dont allow hostile even for a 1/4 second, which can happen if say you use the stun gun and they happen to see it right as you fire it (like when cloaked).

@cbeasley02 I finally got it. You cannot make any mech hostile, you cant have guards hostile for too long because they alert other guards and they turn on the alarm. Also tip for this is to hide your victims bodies, because guards can sometimes walk pass bodies and become alerted without you knowing as you move on to the later stages

Um. I saw a dead soldier when I got to the second floor of the right side from where you start. I didn't kill him but he died somehow??? O__O

I swear if this ruins Pacifist for me I'm gonna raaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggeeeeee!!!

I read that the Foxiest achievement/trophy only concerns Alarms triggered in a base or HQ.

I just did this, does it matter that I didn't get ghost at the end of it? I'm pretty sure they go hostile either way. I tried once just running there invisible and i got ghost in the lift, but Malik obviously died

why did u get the dermal armor upgrade if ur doing the foxiest of hound achievement? isnt it un-needed? or is there some good perk out of fully upgrading that??

@Creature809 I'm doing a Foxiest of the hound/all non-lethal play through/Hardest Difficulty. Dermal Armour is basically used for the boss fights, as you're not going to be putting up much firepower. (And the anti-electricity thing is a life saver on the final-boss)

just a quick question. does getting a headshot with the tranq gun kill them?? cuz i did that and then checked the body and there was a skull not the zzz icon

@Creature809 Yes, it can. Just do body shots and double check bodies before it clears your auto/quicksaves just in case
