@bluedragon4sho You are forgetting that wolves are animals that can't feel emotions like humans, their brains cannot formulate any form of complex thought. You are also forgetting that setting this wolf free would mean that it would be killed by a scared person pretty quickly. Oh, and you are also forgetting that he probably was born in this habitat so he would never have a chance out in the wilderness. So yeah, unfortunately keeping him there is the best thing to do.

Other animals further down the food chain are protected from predators. I'm not for keeping wild animals in small cages but if given an good sized natural habitat somehow I doubt the animals are stressed that they aren't able to travel a few miles of land for food. I don't like the idea of zoo's (i know this isn't one btw) but I think ppl exaggerate a bit.
