@arnuskin1 Yes, it's a method called UV Mapping. What it is, is you basically have a square, with outlines on it showing where certain shapes are. It's kind of like coloring a piece of paper, and then folding it into something. It's a bit more of an advanced technique, but I might do a tutorial on it.

@TheUmairaslam There is no program to open DMG files. It is a system utility that is built into the OS. If you are using Windows, it will not work.

@TheUmairaslam You don't have to install anything. One the disk image is mounted on your computer you just drag the Cheetah 3D folder to where you want it stored.

If you got Adobe Photoshop it's good, the program is much easeyer to download if you can find a free file. I searched it on google and i got a free download, but warning. Adobe photoshop is a little difficult to get exactly your idea, but if you do it on this way it is too difficult i would say. I can make a tutorial for how to make 3D pictures, but i need support for that. If 5 people respond for my help, i will make the tutorial. If not... So bye guys!

I am on Mac OS X. I don't know if you are familiar with it completely, but you can see the Mac OS X UI. I am using a program called Snapz Pro X. Mac only.

Snapz is Mac only. Look for a program called Camtasia or CamStudio. In my experience they sucked compared to Snapz, but there really aren't many good Windows screen recording programs that I know of.

Well there are a ton of games out for the Mac now. If you have a Windows only game you can run it through Windows on a Mac. It comes with a Setup Assistant that partitions and formats for hard drive for Windows installation. Don't forget that software is usually cheaper for the Mac platform. You get great preinstalled programs from iLife. If you don't know what that is you can look at it on Apple's website, it is pretty cool. Continued...

So along with that you also get the Magic Mouse which is really neat. I assume that you have heard of it. It comes with the iMac standard, also with the wireless keyboard. Most Macs have built in iSight cameras as well. They also have built in mics and speakers. The Mac Pro and the Mac Mini are the only ones without the built in camera or mic because those are external computers, not all in ones or laptops. Plus you should look into the OS itself. It is truly amazing. Let me know what else...

My best Mac would be a maxed out Mac Pro with dual 30-inch Cinema Displays. Anyway, I think the question about Cheetah 3D working on Windows has already been answered, and to save your animation you need to full version. That is the ONLY feature that is disabled.
