Can i just say that i know these animals are adorable and cute and shit but I just don't think it's right to domesticate them like that. I mean, in addition to the possibility of an instinctive drift (which is happening more frequently), I just think animals belong in their natural habitat.

yes, u might be rite, but with only 1600 left in the wild, the alternative is possible extinction of the precious species, if human beings dun take over and do their best to keep a minimum baseline. And we certainly do not wish this adorable species to go extinct! And China is also striving to find a way to release them back into the wild in e future.
