Yes it is a Renault Megane (France). Renault was the F1 Team winner for two consecutive years, but as soon as the Megane is not a "macho" 6.0lt engine car, how can it be popular in "planet" US...
Yeah, it's a Renault. And the funny thing is, you only need the key to actually start the engine. You can put anything in that slot to turn on the electricity and listen to radio and whatnot.

surely saves the starter from suffering :)
and its prolly not as easy to bypass as a regular keysystem.

Yes it was a Renault Megané II, it´s a great car confortable and has fuel economy.
Other car of this brand is the Renault Laguna that has the same start system.
