So very true! I was an 80's teen with 4 much older brothers who raised me on what's now the classics (Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper, etc.), and taught me how to know and appreciate REAL musical talent. When the 80's hit, I hated most new music, until the true rock bands (aka Hair Bands) flooded in. All that raw talent was never fully noticed, thanks to the radios only playing 1 or 2 songs, and rarely their best stuff. Lita Ford is a great example. She put most male guitarist to shame.
