american m3s suck. just a regular 2.8l engine with 40hp extra...sucks.

euro ITB 3.0 286 and 3.2 321hp versions are fab.

The US engines are 3.0L (S50) and 3.2L (S52)

The Euro M3 costs significantly more, thats why the US got the stroker M50/M52 engines.

Besides, the US E36 is still a competent car.

yep, 95 is the M50 bored and stroked with different cams, and all the others are M52 bored and stroked with cams, I would never buy a US M3. every single part to the engines other than the rotating assembly and cams is exactly the same
