@uv77re ok calm down so all guitars have 6 strings and loudness doesn't depend on the pickups being big it's on how many watts your amp is also your pick ups are small means it's a single coil and not a humbucker that's all humbucker is a chunkier sound i have a stratocaster it's all single coils it's bright and really nice warm tones if you like this go for a stratocaster if not and you like the bigger pick ups go for a epiphone or a Gibson if your lucky
I've seen a really nice guitar i like but it only has 5 strings, my friends has 6 and i think the one in your video does too! Do you think i should buy this guitar? Is it faulty with only 5? The store owner said i could buy an extra string but i'm not sure if i should believe him! Also it has smaller pickups to my friends does this mean that it is not as loud? I'm confused as to what to do because i really like the colour of it but don't want to waste my money if it may be damaged or inferior?
aha yeah told my mom i wanted an electric, so she comes home from Walmart one day with a guitar.....i might as well play a broom with strings on it -_-
but now i'm getting the new schecter synyster gates model!
@kajaria22 there are classical,acoustic,electro-acoustic and electric guitars..
classical is more for spanish style of music, acoustic is best for chords and country... electro-acoustic is same as acoustic, but you can plug i into an amplifier.. and electric in my opinion is the best... you can play with it jazz,blues,funk,country,chords,rock,metal... but it needs an amplifier... amplifiers are not expensive
"Make sure there's no statics" ! What statics? This is wired electronics and there is no "static".
You mean crap, dirt or dust in the potentiometers and switches. Or a bad design picking-up lots of 120Hz Humm due to a ground loop or some other fault.
@SamuraiTankyuusha Well I don't say you were wrong or anything else. I always like to see what people have to say about this or that. I am an old-hand guitarist and often, I pick-up new tricks from guys like you and I am glad about it.
It's the electronics tech that wrote to you. Don't talk about static if you don't know what it is. Just say that one should stay away from a guitar that makes noise when moving around or when playing with the knobs and switches. Just don't give it a name.
you look like Paul Mcartney

@dunavidrava I wouldn't say that huge Marshall/Orange/Vox cabinets and heads are inexpensive...
Much like with guitars - the amp prices can vary.

@nastyguard007 its true, but i dont think a begginer really needs a marshall 200 watt amp..

I like the action a little high , and I use 13-58 gage strings, tuned to Eb on my Stratocaster Delux , gives it more of that SRV sound
Videowatcher76 2 years ago
The strings could be outa tune, and you could lower the action of the strings...
