@HeavyBoomkinGuy I dislike playing the GB virtual console games at full screen, but playing it at the original resolution is not a good idea since it really shrinks everything. Looks great though! Same thing with regular DS games. It shrinks those too to keep the same resolution
Thanks Cowlauncher for the great post and insight. The 3DS launch was fine, and in this day and age of technology I don't know what people are expecting for such new technology. The price tag was relatively high, but that is normal at launch. Early adopters cannot think of themselves as being penalized since the price of electronics always drops. Nintendo did everyone a favor with all the free games and that was an amazing demonstration of generosity.
@LockeVincent I thought so too. I have been carrying this around since day one and I completed the street pass games and I want more! When I heard about the NES and GBA games handout, it made a sweet system even sweeter.
@toshironikko Yes, I should have been a bit clearer on that, Its not a 2 screen machine like the DS. The touch panel on the back seems like a very interesting idea.
I was actually impressed with what they did. I can't complain about getting 20 free games, some of which I've never played like Metroid Fusion (I know, I missed out!). It'll be nice to be able to have this on my 3DS instead of buying a GBA cartridge and using my old DS to do that. At least it's nice that Nintendo obviously cares.

Emulation makes retro downloads less special. If Emulation didn't exist. A lot of these old retro downloads would seem more worth it.
