First of all, thank you watch. I am Chinesemen, but I work in Laos. So, I take the Laos Hmong 2012 New Year.thanks (首先,谢谢观看。我是中国人,但是,我在老挝工作。所以,我拍摄的是老挝的苗族2012年的春节。)
@ffengxm On the sound on-off, you're absolutely correct. Unless people are using professional audio equipments, both wind and the thousands of DISTRACTING background noises make audio sounds impossible to understand.
So I found your idea of simply capturing steady, focused, & different SCENES without audio sound rather refreshing. Indeed, 99.9% of the typical Hmong footages are loaded with additional audio tracks of noises (songs) TOTALLY irrelevant to what's visually shown anyway.
@ffengxm he he he...you can look at them girls, but you can't touch them. Those beautiful girls are reserved and can only be touched by Hmong men, no one else. Just kidding. This time of year (newyear) you can flirt with anyone as you like. If I were you I would have said "wow ai ni" to those lovely ladies.
did u know that there are now HIV in phonsavan and 52.

I think Hmong people wear so many different kinds of costumes wear,
but would like to redesign to make look nicer. Then Hmong will lead
to a culture alive and proud with own people. Few people would like to
fix those and other would like to share. Otherwise, not so interest.^^

Good job, sometime no sound is better than meaningless background noise. Seeing is more important than hearing in an event like this.
