for those who dont know the story ill brief you: samath walsh was a 16 year old girl from newfoundland on her way to her grandmothers for a sleepover. on the way she met up with one of her supposeivlt friends and was strangled to death, the man burried her in the snow and he even took part in a search party for her. later when they found her body the guy confessed and was put in jail and is still there now and being released soon, frankly, i dissagree. R.I.P.

My mom is from Fleur-De-Lys. We used to visit there on summer vacations. It's so beautiful there and the people are so nice. It's a real tragedy such a horrible thing happened to such a beautiful little girl.
I am from Seal Cove White Bay. I live about 45 minutes away from that coommunity. That man who killed her he had a list of women to kill. He said He would never kill her but what did he do. No One wants to see him back on the Baie Verte Penninusla. I am moved to Twillingate now but someone related to Sam was in my class from grade 2 to Grade 10..
My grandmother is from the community she lived in. Went there last summer, all my relatives live there, such as small town. Hard to believe anything like that could happen.
i think about her alot,,i did not know her ,,but i have kids and i wish that people could get dead for this!!!!kids are the best and when people take them away from us ,,,they should not live no more then a day after they do it.
You have to remember that the ppl in this community were either related to or were friends of one or both familys. and this was a tragity for the entire community because this was a family member and or a friend that it happened to or committed this crime, it was upsetting to see his mother as upset as she was. She was almost as upset as Sam's mother was.
