Hey Guys, This is a real numbered Saleen. Number 1 to be exact. The exhaust is Saleen made by Borla. It also has Kooks 1 7/8" headers to a 3"collector with Off Road X pipe that we installed.

@bwonderboy putting these cams in the boss 302 would yield even more power and torque because of the higher airflow throughout the rpm range and especially the powerband. Just camming the mustang would not make it a wrecking machine on the track like the boss is.

Not to knock the results or anything... but I just can't understand how Ford Engineers went and spent months on end and hundreds of thousands of dollars to build the Boss 302... maximizing head flow, thousands of hours of computer modelling and simulations, making an intake, pcm calibrations, etc... etc.. when the could have just bolted up a set of cams and call it a day.

@bwonderboy You know that Ford build for teh street. They will never max anything out. Be it N/A or clown. There is always bigger cams/more head work/ blowers/better exhaust. ETC ETC. The Boss gains its power threw a few things. The cnc'd head, Boss intake, and bigger intake cams. These cams would even wake a Boss up some.

disappointed in the sound...was hoping for a lobe like your 3v cams, or like the Hot Rods. Great power gains though!!!

That would help, ha!.. This is actually the only video i found where the h.p. gains on a naturally aspirated cammed up motor. I've heard people sayin only 10-15 hp gain with 4v cams and they aren't worth it. This is worth it!!! Nice

It stands for no springs required. Most cams require the change of valve springs. These do not. :-)

@Bunique1713 If it is a real Saleen, then those are the stock tips for it. As for the sound, and actually which exhaust it is, if not stock, it is tough to guess from this sound. It's a bit to generic to narrow it down.
