I don't think u can say Slash was a substitute if Gn'R created and recorded Appetite for Destruction and became famous when Slash was in the band. & there IS Guns N Roses after Slash. your life may have ended but normal people arent stuck in 1996.Guns N Roses continues to have good musicians, many of whom have been in the band longer than the old guys were.

& by the way, anybody who has sing AXl sing on GNR's 2010 tour knows how FANTASTIC he sounds. at least do your research before you try to speak.

@mrinalbuffy123 in my opinion there was no GNR neither before nor after Slash, cause he gave the band the sound that made all of us become fans, those bluesy solos, those funky riffs, the unforgetable intros. Slash made GNR what it used to be, before and after him it's just a band with the same name. BTW I'm not stuck in '96, I've been a loyal fan of Slash after he left the band, and Axl took 10 years to make a new album. and who cares how long the new members have been on the band?
