I understand the political substrata for the suicides but I also firmly believe that there are other ways to fight for freedom other than killing innocent civilians in the process. And your statement that is has nothing to do with religion is somewhat flawed by the fact the martyrs are promised a heavenly treat (for them and their family) once they fulfill their mission.
