You know, maybe you guys have an answer to this question. In my dreams, I have a certain feeling of being warm in bed, but at that moment I'm not aware of that feelinig being myself lying in my own bed. But when I'm awake, I realize this was this feeling. Also, I felt that when I thought of something, my dream transformed itself into this particular world/thought. I still cannot prevent this. Any help?
@FearThisChannel Not sure about the warm sensation, though it sounds like you are on the threshold of wake and dream, and not lucid. As for the dream transformation, this is simply an act of will and regulation of emotions. Just as it It takes strong will and focus to make dreams change to your liking, it also takes will to maintain the current dream substance and prevent changes. All I can say is that this comes with practice. Thanks for your input. -Andrew Gray
most people in our society are asleep while awake for the day, and awakened while sleeping. if we learn to awaken the mind while the body is awake you will be vividly awakened. while the body is sleeping and the dream and the dreamer are more directly connected your mind is waking. life is a temporal dream and you are the surviving dreamer. to awaken in the dream is an amazing and vivid experience beyond the words of this paradigm.
I find that if you allow yourself an afternoon or early evening nap and decide that you will sleep 1 - 1/2 hours only...either set an alarm and affirm this mentally...you can more readily access the Lucid state. After this is accomplished, you can add a task to perform when you become Lucid...it may take a few times and then voila', you remember!
