there are different size ukes ... soprano ... tenor ... bass etc .. as well as different models ...there is no set standard.

It's a David Gomes uke, and yes, it is custom - he is on the Big Island and would possibly be able to make one like it, but it would be quite expensive! David is very well known for guitars in particular.
