This is not a Tipperary Song. No self respecting Tipp man or woman would ever sing this thing. It was a recruiting song used by the brittish to get some of the best fighting men in the world to join the brittish army and become cannon fodder on the western front in WW1 aka 'the great folly'. Okay this is to everyone who watches this. This video was designed to be a small representative group of the people who fought in World War I. I used the footage available to me which was primarily British, French, German, Austrian, and Russian. I supplemented it with pictures from another project I made of Americans and Germans during WWI because they are my primary historical focus.
