I live in the mountainous area of Virginia, and we got over 3 feet. Digging a path to the mailbox was a chore, but I made it through sheer willpower, alone. I did it so I would have something to do while the power was out. It came back on about 5 minutes before I was done.

I live in upstate NY so we got nothing from the storm, although we get plenty of lake effect snow every year.
