  • @awesomejohnnet u meen Canadian...

  • @leoppmkd2

    I stand corrected.Thank you.

  • Holy shit that is a really sexy fuckin guitar...

  • This guitar sounds orgasmic. I've never personally been a big fan of hollow bodies, but I think I'm in love with this guitar. I want one, bad.

  • I don't need so-much ornamentation, but damn, that thing sounds sweet. Great definition for a hollowbody.

  • too much abalone inlays it may ruined the sound

  • Shit. How much would something like this cost me? This is one sexy guitar.

  • @Lavampeace suprisingly cheaper since it is made in korea, i've seen it for 900 new and 600 used on ebay

  • wow dude you look like Michael J Fox lol

  • I want this guitar. Even though it has some "assholes" lol

  • @stanfie1d

I want this guitar. Even though I couldn't play it.

  • 2:33 Wow! Sounds awesome!

  • sounds sexyy

    i want that

    ha

  • ABALON-EEEE It's pronounced with an EEEEE sound!!

  • two assholes!!!!! LOLoLol

  • it was a decent review i suppose but what exactly is wrong with you Paul?, think about what you are saying before you speak. You work for a magazine FFS, you are supposed to be good with words.

"this guitar is the heritage hollow, it's a hollow body of a guitar"

    lol, really?

  • oh my jesus , D: i want it.

  • I have this guitar too, not with the hollow stuff but I got it for 399€ and if you look my profile you wont believe it ;) (I love it and I play metal, old shit not really impressive but with this guitar)

  • OMG, what a guitar! :O

  • maple body and mahogany neck? wow!

  • Kul!

  • Kul!

  • dude play guitarmeggaddon from home movies you people should look it up he plays it with this guitar its awesome

  • "and of course another seymour duncan humbucker, which is the 59."

this man is about as expert with the english language as a paulsy victim with a pipewrench is at brain surgery.

  • I know, the dude does decent reviews but he' a bit grammatically "clumsy".

  • A little blingy isn't it. Sounds good though.

  • Very good guitar for jazz!!! And beautiful!

  • Does someone know what scale or mode he is playing? thx!

  • Such a beautiful piece, but I can't stand those awkward three acoustic notches near the small arc.

  • s holes xD

    .

    nice !!! xP

  • how much does this cost

  • I got a standard off ebay no f holes or design on the fretboard for 900$ canadian about a year and a half ago

  • **s not f sorry

  • holy sshiut

  • I love Paul Riario. Yes sometimes he comes off as a bit cheesy, but when it comes down to it, he knows what he's talking about, and he's an amazing player.

  • too true

  • Hes WAY better than Joe 'the TOOL man' Delaney!

    LOL!

  • that was a nice little lick he had there from 2:36-3:28

  • I thought it was going to be to bright because of all the maple but this guitar sounds awesome!

  • s-holes :DDD shit hot

  • s holes xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • Damn. Those Candadians sure know how to make a good guitar. The ornamentation is a little over-the-top for a rock gig, but I'd use it in the studio.

  • I´d like to hear some jazz licks with this guitar.

  • Wow... that is a great sounding guitar.

  • WOW!

    Looks good - sounds good.

  • beautiful, only this could come from Canada!

  • could anybody tell me who sells these??

  • Love this guitar... Beautiful

  • hahahahaahahahahahah "S holes" xD

  • Beautiful sound all around... its made 2 solo on

  • If they make it left handed, I will want to get it.

  • How does this kind of guitar work? Whats the purpose of the hollow?

  • better cleaner resonation.

  • I see. Thnks, never tried one of these before.

  • it sound good

  • What a guesser!

  • assholes?

  • exactly what i thought!! HAHAH!!

  • hahahahaaaa

  • This guitar just screams quality, I'm gonna give this company a look next time I'm at the music store...

  • "..and S holes for uh... what they call the S holes..." haha what?

  • 2:12 holy, that sounded like eric johnson... go canada!!

  • Cool guitar, really like the looks and tones. Can anyone tell me of other guitar companies located in Canada?

  • seagull is from quebec and they make nice acoustics

  • It's good looking. The sound is just not for me:)

  • "a hollowbody of a guitar"

  • fuckk noooo its so fuckin pretty but you can clearly see the inside wires from a frontal view. even so, i want it.

  • I want one...

  • that is the sexiest guitar i have ever seen

  • this instrument is beautiful in every aspect

  • beautiful sounding guitar

  • JB/59 best combo around

  • ....You haven't played, seen, or heard of Bareknuckle pickups.

  • sure but i thought they were more known for classic rock were as jb/59 can go from Slayer to jazzy cleans......

  • .....They have different kind of models that range rome classic clean output ala Albert King, to the War Pig model, which many a tech death band use...I suggest you check out the site to see,

  • Will do bro.

  • I have a pair of Mules with the alnico 5 magnets in my Gibson Lucille. Night and day difference in tone, clarity, and response. I would recomend Bare Knuckle to anybody.

  • Thank you, most people would just ignore my advice/suggestions, or be offended that I suggested anything otherwise to what they know and accept. I'm not an end-all be-all of tonal knowingness or whatever, but I would at least expect people to take advantage of new "things" if you will, and see if they are better or practical. Eh, what the fuck do I know. O, and nice on the Mules, I'm just imagining like a stinging B.B. or Albert note. AHHHHH, lol. Alnico 5's? That's interesting. Wouldn't Alnico

  • (Cont.) 4's be a little better for teh pure vintage tones? Or did you want the extra juice? I'm not trying to contradict you or anything, I think it's all up to personal preference, obviously. I'm still jealous. :)

  • wow, very sweet and warm sounding..

  • Isnt abalone pronounced abaloneeeee? Or am I wrong?

  • I dive and we've always called it abalone.not abaloneeeeeeeee. Cant stand when I hear it that way. Even if I'm wrong change it!

  • Just like magic..!

  • wow great tone

  • HOW MUCH!

  • why?

  • Just don't like the way he talks or plays... Especially when he did the Chuck Schuldiner Tribute guitar... I'm sure he's good for somethings but he shouldn't be reviewing all the guitars.

  • I fully agree with you man and we are not alone. I don't really understand why they don't switch guy once in a while.

  • ScreamingBloodyGore@: Perhaps you are more Metal than musically oriented. Paul is GREAT at this reviews though I must concede in your benefit you are utterly right about his lacks in Metal playing.

Anyway, who can blame him when he is showing us those guitars and effects in a wide dimension of acoustic and musical possibilities?

    Regards.

  • Ummmm... more metal than musically oriented? Are you trying to say metal doesn't have musicality.

Some of his reviews are good, i just don't think he's good for all of them. I will say that he does do a wide variety of examples, and that's always cool.

  • dayum, i think Paul shreds the roof off.

  • He was doing some really cheesy riffing of the Chuck Schuldiner signature guitar demo.

  • Yeah, definately. I found pat o'briens review a little more straight to what the guitar is for.

  • I like it

  • FREEBIRD!!!!!!!!

  • The first thing he starts playing sounds very jack johnson style

  • MMmmmm, I'll stick with a USA Jackson.

  • Sounds sweet, but it's a little gaudy for my taste.

  • Love the clean tone and the lead tone. But I find the inlays and the binding a bit too much, just my 2 cents. Excellent sounding guitar though.

  • Awesome lead tone, not so sure about the cleans really.

  • what chords/tabs did he use on the clean setting (1st) please answer

  • has a very jh and the band of gypsys tone methinks

  • arent those kinda heavy pickups to put in a semi-hollow guitar

  • "assholes" XD

  • I wanna make a guitar with ass shaped chambers and call them assholes!

  • lol :D

  • Nice sound!

  • sexy

  • I'm not a fan of the semi-hollow guitars, but if I ever get one, this would be the one!

  • Wow nice tone.

  • im sick of them showing expensive guitars that almost no one can afford

  • theyre not expensive dude....look em up

  • they cost $1850 thats pretty expensive if u ask me

  • the price of this guitars are excellent. I had the chance to play one of these wonderful guitars and the overall versatility and feel is amazing. The inlays are also exquisite... What also really impressed me was that those jb/59 pickups gave a really nice sound to this hollow body.

  • Thats MRSP...Ive seen them on EBay for $900. NEW!!!

  • o hmm didnt look there thats cool.

  • yea kinda steve vai-ish in a way.

  • stunning, just stunning

  • A 59' n' a JB in it? Awesome

  • sounds steve vai-ish to me

  • awesome looking and light weight thats a fucking guitar
