These "untold stories" are usually one-sided and lightly researched, and always come from the liberal viewpoint, i.e., the transgendered man who is kept from living life to the fullest because of "traditional values," or the vast conservative conspiracy to spread Aids and kill off as many homosexuals, blacks, people of color, etc., as possible, et al. The usual drivel.

But it's not likely a story on the fair treatment given at Gitmo or millions freed in Iraq would garner accolades.
