Jann, I am new to the world of Sizzix since I've only had my big shot a few months. Can I use the these plates in my big shot? And how do you clean the plates? I love the technique you showed and the possibilities seem limitless. I would like to use chalks with them, do you think that would work as well? Thanks ~Sybil~
@JandSib80 Hey Sybil...I do not have a Big Shot but I have a couple of friends that do and they said that the Spellbinders Impressabilities will work with it -- with a particular "sandwich" of plates...I will look on YouTube and see what I can find. The Impressabilities were created to work with chalks so that would be a great use for them.
Michelle...thank you so much for your encouragement! i so appreciate you! I am becoming less and less intimidated by the process of card making...so thanks for your encouragement for me to keep making them.
@WhatYouMakeIt1 We are all intimidated by things at different times throughout our lives Jann. The trick is to grasp it with both hands and run with it until it becomes second nature lol. One would never know that you were intimidated by making cards it so does not look like it at all. You make cards like a pro does. Love your work Jann.
Awesome. I love 2-Fer's. What a great way to get them. Beautiful card fronts. You've make it look so tempting, not to mention easy. Took all the mystery out of it.
Absolutely love your Mother's Day card. Beautiful it is.
@WhatYouMakeIt1 I will have to go to Hobby Lobby and pick up some of those thing-a-ma-bobs. It is beautiful. Conquering fears is awesome. One more thing to look at and say "I DID THAT!!!!" Awesome feeling :-)
I tried using some repositionable...and I found it difficult to get off of the very thin delicate metal pieces...probably if your plate isn't super delicate that would work!

Jann I think you should keep making cards my friend or at least at that to your skill bag as this card is stunning. Love it a whole lot.

Since it is so light, could you use repositionable adhesive on the plate to keep it flat against the paper when you spray?
