I have often wondered what kiss would be like today, or if they would even still exist, if they didn't reunite after mtv unplugged and they stuck with kulick. They were headed in a new musical direction back on the carnival of souls album.

So has every other Kiss fan. WAY too analytical about everything.lol P&G knew about the reunion while recording "COS." Not really specifics but they knew it was coming. They were garanteed 1 millions (I think) if they signed a contract w/whoever it was, if they did a reunion tour even as far back as 1989. Kiss' manager at that time, Larry Mazer, wanted to get Ace to open up for Kiss on their "H.I.T.S."" tour & also have him do an encore w/Kiss at the end, but Ace said "no."

Maybe, but I think they were really struggling to stay relevant when carnival of souls came out. I think the reunion tour confirmed there was still a huge demand for the "classic" KISS experience, and they've been banking on that fact since.

The show I saw in St. Paul, they were solid but was kinda nervous that Peter couldn't cut it. Peter is way past his prime but there's nothing wrong w/that, happens to a lot of musicans the older they get.

@skeptic91 They had some very good shows and some that weren't the best.. But, I just saw KISS a few weeks ago, and on a few songs Paul had some major mistakes. Even with that,it was a great concert. That is what happens when ever concert is recorded and watched thousands of times. You have a bad concert, and everyone is ready to point it out.

God I would loved to have been at this concert. Sadly at the time I was only a little kid. But I still loved them back then, and still do today. Ace was always my favourite but they were all great.

I saw them when I was 16 in 1977 at the Hollywood Sportatorium in Florida. Same tour I believe. Went as Paul Stanley - costume and all - with my 3 buddies as the rest of the band. Got on the news for a Miami TV station. Wow what a day!! Still a huge fan all these years later.
