Geesh what a joke. Edward obviously has a more serious form of Autism than Aspergers. Standard High functioning Autism is not the same as Aspergers syndrome. No Aspergers is a step beyond that. VERY high functioning. A person's verbal skills are also much more developed with Aspergers and it's much easier for those people to fake being 'normal'.

@Euterpe001 There's a huge amount of misunderstanding and ignorance with regard to autism and its litany of forms. It makes me rage a bit when the people that make these shows don't bother doing the proper research and simply go with popular stereotypes.

@richiebabe24 That's true. I have a mild form of Aspergers. But when I tell people 'it's a high functioning form of Autism' they often say 'but you're so normal' (yah I'm pretty good at faking it too. Going along with the crowd even though my mind is off somewhere else). They wonder why I'm not constantly staring off into space while rocking back and forth. It can get quite frustrating.
