The software that is programmed to pay out at a certain percentage, is what actually dictates winners and losers. It is perceived as random because it continuosly generates numbers (not random) and there is no way for us to determine when we will win. This is also true for skill stop models; we have no control of where the drums will stop, the computer decides that too.

to pay out. If it were up to the casino's, they would NEVER pay out. They would rather take your money and you get nothing. However, they have to pay out in a percentage margin compared to the money they take in. THAT is what that programmed CPU chip in that machine is for. Also, the chip is programmed at the manufacturing state of the unit... NOT BY THE CASINO. So, It's just as big of a chance of winning as any standard mechanical slot machine, as well as playing the lottery. Bye moron.

Every computer guided machine built to this day uses similar configuration. Your computer, your smart phone. I completely explained to them how they worked, they helped me program them and make some other minor adjustments. But after they started playing, even though they knew they had no control over where the drums stopped, they were falling for the tease, talking about how they almost won a spin, they tried stopping the drums in different order, and they tried letting the drums spin longer.

@bigpronger They're not really random because there is no such thing as a true RNG, they actually use a PRNG, a Pseudo RNG. The software that is programmed to pay out at a certain percentage, is what actually dictates winners and losers. It is perceived as random because it continuosly generates numbers (not random) and there is no way for us to determine when we will win. This is also true for skill stop models; we have no control of where the drums will stop, the computer decides that too.

The percentage they have to payout is based on all of the machines. It is not the same for each machine. You have to find the ones that are set to pay more often.
That is what I have been told and have proven it myself.

I use to play for a little fun. If I went up $40, I cashed out and walked away. I went in with a set amount and if it was gone in 10 minutes, I was gone in 10 minutes. As far as the "tease" went, my friend would get 2matches on a 3 roller, or 3 on a 4 roller etc..and say, "I almost won!" I'd look at him and say, "I don't care if you got 99 out of a 100, it's still a LOSS!" Get that through your head and you MIGHT be able to control your losses.

there are 3 companys that regulate our 7 casinos. two of them wich can shut down our whole operation of all 7 casinos. any how the pay outs can only be set when a special tech has athority to change the pay out rates agian popularity and the ammount the machine makes determines this for an example we have a machine that was one of the original machines for the last 15 years. it started out as quater machine with a max bet of 20.25 a spin its now a dollar and max is now 180 a spin.

first off it depends whom owns the casino's machines, some casinos rent the slot machines and they control the pay out rate the machines can be set to 100% pay all the time for the max jackpot. also the best can be set depending on how popular the game is. how ever the casion dose not control the pay outs at all unless the machines are owned by the casino and they have to be regulated by what ever gamming regualtions in their area is and casinos are highly regulated for the casino i work for

ROFL tell my accountant that the slots don't pay off. LOL There is a system. You have to know when to walk away from the machine your playing. I have yet to have to pay for a room or food while I am gambling. If you don't play the max, you can not win the progressives. Making a living on slots is fun and challenging. Maybe I am just lucky.
