  • 3:04 that's Whiney!! WOW.

  • Pavarotti and Whitney! MASTERS. Miss her so much.

  • Whitney has the most powerful female voice ever. And she is easily holding her own against Pavarotti. For me Pavarotti is the best male voice ever, and Whitney the best female voice ever! Damn..that voice of Whitney is such a powerhouse. We will never hear that kind of power from a female singer again.

  • Whitney is incredible!

  • You can still recognize her voice well with the men...very strong voice

  • Love seeing The Maestro turning to The Voice @ 6:24 with a "brava". Amazing artists.

  • Whitney's mother is an operatic soprano. She always did the top notes in The Sweet Inspirations. So I'm sure she trained Whitney how to do Opera, as well as Gospel, R&B, Broadway, and Pop. Those genre's were Cissy's strong points.

  • See at 3:06, you can see and hear whitney hitting a stunning stunning note! Its super high, but its drowned out a bit. Its like a whistle note

  • @sas2206 yes you are right, whitney blew that note on top of them lomao

  • When the children are giving out flowers, they didnt give Elton John a bouquet of flowers lol. And Elton John looked kind of upset, that he didn't get any. But the children gave Whitney Houston 2 bouquets. I'm thinking maybe one of those were for Elton John.

  • whitney was just sitting on top of the world at the time. no other female could mess with her, vocally or commercially

  • @PrinceNippy female opera isn't true singing in my opinion. male opera is, though.

  • Whitney should have sung the whole damn thing with Pavarotti instead of Sting or Elton.

  • Wow, this was great to see the entire performance. I've only seen clips. After first seeing this performance, I was finally convinced that there's nothing Whitney can't sing. Her dramatic coloratura soprano was really put to use in this operatic piece. I love this woman. She has sung everything from Pop to R&B to Soul to Gospel and even Opera. The true 8th wonder of the world.

  • whitney sorta barged in when it was Sting's turn...but who cares? She dynamic and should venture into classic opera.

  • @diddymuck not at all! hehehe... it was her turn... Sting had finished, and Pavarotti, who is leading the song, continues and Whitney starts then... she should have done some opera, I agree...

  • I wished Whitney got more singing parts.....

  • Looks like she surprised herself too

  • Whitney è stata bravissima , sono rimasta senza parole qnd l'ho sentita...'THE VOICE' naturalmente ...

  • Incrivel Whitney Houstonj cantando opera....irruuuulll...

  • That is my favorite thing about Whitney is her operatic vocals!!! Her Head voice is truly a gift from above, no one has, can or every will match it!!!!! LOVE HER!!

  • @ynothouser BRAVOOOOO Whitney! When I hear Whitney sing I think of that song God must have spent a little more time on her. The lady can sing with anyone and no matter what, she will always be the greatest voice EVER because there is this special reverence in her voice that comes through her vocals even when she is sick, even when she is tired, and that can't be duplicated by anyone else..

  • Whitney sings OPERA.

    IT'S A FACT ... SHE'S THE BEST VOICE EVER!

  • WHITNEY! WOOOOOOOOOO!

  • i love it!! Whitney did an excellent job!! i was surprised with Sting's voice, wow..and Pavarotti amazing as always..Elton did great too..but they were really funny too.. :D
