furthermore how could he be calling this guy Flanders, when the Simpsons wasn't even around in the 80's when id assume this was suppose to have happened. He could've signed out AMA, but he chose to jump the fence--there's no way anyone could've stopped him, and the rehab wouldn't have had the authority to physically restrain him even if they wanted to. Can't blame the rehab. Can't blame the limo driver or the gun shop either. Kurt was a grown man, and he was responsible for his actions.

I have been to counselor after counselor and they all say, of my heroin addiction, even though i'm recovered, that "i can never trust a thing you say because you're an addict and i'm not". and that is the opinion these counselors have. Kurt knew he was a junkie, he even said, "guess i'll take some drugs cause i feel like a junkie anyway".

The pictures of Kurt that you're referring to were taken in the late '80's, around the time Kurt was living in Olympia with Tracy Marander, and also around the time the band was signed to Sub Pop. On the "Love Buzz" single cover, and also on the front cover of "Bleach", you'll notice that Kurt's hair is quite long (Kurt is the faceless mane of hair that's closest to the camera on 'Bleach'). Does that help?

Well obviously the counselor is not a valid point of insight into Kurt's mind at the time. I have been to counselor after counselor and they all say, of my heroin addiction, even though i'm recovered, that "i can never trust a thing you say because you're an addict and i'm not". and that is the opinion these counselors have. Kurt knew he was a junkie, he even said, "guess i'll take some drugs cause i feel like a junkie anyway".

Hey, i've never taken drugs myself but they only cause you problems, they fuck up your mind and your way of thinking. Cobain took heroin, a hardcore drug, cmon?
