I'm starting a new YouTube page called Confessions of an Independent Plumbing Contractor - come by for some help with your backed up pipes. Good stuff again buddy, keep it up!
Hey! Couldn't you just have used Box-office mojo and done the math yourself? Probably, they'd want something more "serious", but it would've been cheaper ...;) Good luck, eagerly awaiting next update!
I checked them out. Their good...but these other guys use industry formulas to drill out the info. Very, very helpful. Good idea though. Box office Mojo is tight.
Just last week I was wondering how did the business plan go. I am glad things are still moving along. You seem more relaxed... well, as relaxed as a guy can look while under his sink. Winks. Keep posting!
haha! dude, i was totally getting worried about ya man. good thing you updated us! good luck with the next few weeks bro! and did you ever get that sink fixed? hahahahaha...
I was just thinking about you the other day when I was looking through my list of subscriptions. I'm glad to hear the news! Keep us posted (after you finish that whole plumbing adventure, of course).
Perfect timing bro...The Chop Suey team was wondering what was cracking out there in Cali with you. Good job and thanks as always for giving us all that good and useful information. Keep at it bro
ha. well good luck with that man. At least you went so far as to make a business plan, and then learned from it on top of that. Your videos are hilarious too. I love your cutting style and the comic timing of it.
Yay! There's progress, I'm so happy for you, can't wait to see how the film will turn out, even if that may be a way off yet, but I am extremely patient, just make sure you get it right.
Have you ever made an actual independent film though? You seem to be going from nothing straight for Hollywood, which is like impossible. But regardless, I wish you the best of luck.
Direct quote from his youtube page "y background is music video producing/directing. I've been producing/editing reality television for 5 years. I'm a graduate of USC film school. I've been directing shorts and writing since the beginning of time. (Yes, that was a dramatic statement. But it's for emotional effect.) I've drained $12,000 on my first indie right out of college. I drained another $12,000 on a short just a few years ago. Who knows how much I've spent on press kits and promo packets"
Anon4everr beat me to the punch. But yes...my background is music video producing/directing and many feature directors have jumped straight from commercials and music videos. However, this comment is not meant to dishearten those aspiring feature filmmakers who have yet to make their independent, music video, or commercial. The industry is changing and there is no one clear road to get to the finish line. Regardless of your background, just go for it! And become the trend others talk about!
I agree. I should learn to read in future, but I swear none of that information was on your page a couple of months ago because I looked. Maybe 'open my eyes' is a better term.
I have written several feature-length screenplays, with one going into production soon.
Now that I've watched the full video and gotten over my desire to get second comment without typing, "SEC0ND COMENT!!1," I can type a better comment.
Good thing you got the business plan (mostly) done, and I can't wait to see how much the movie is projected to make. I hope it's like, a gazillion dollars. Or more.
thanks, i'm trying to discover what i want to do with my videos, i am an actor, and i am trying to figure out how to work that into my videos, but hey you keep doing what your doing because your getting there dude
Add the links to your info!
