I wouldn't say too hardcore, but it does take a while to get used to. Then there is learning to not develop bad habits, like trying to dust followed by repeated punches. I say try a little of each character till you find what your good with, then learn the mechanics through that character. Eventually, you'll be able to play well. And depending on who you excel with, you may be able to do well in other fighters. Though, Guilty Gear does have the most unique cast in the genre.

It's incredibly deep that's for sure, and the game doesn't really give any explanations for anything. Internet was my teacher, I didn't understand anything at first.

It took me a year to get decent with Venom (mind you he's probably the most advanced character in the game) and I still don't feel like I've grasped even 20 % of what he's capable off.

Still, it's awesome fun on all levels of skill.

He's too hard to use to fight with, usually characters with charging attacks are usually good, thats why Sol is so overpowered because he has a lot of charging attacks and even a projectile to help him out ... Jump Cancel doesn't have a speical animation. How you do it is when you do certain attacks, if you press 'Up' at the right frame, then your character jump cancels so you can do additional combos. For Bridget in all game versions, aerial down+slash can be jump canceled as well as his aerial kick. ((Punch maybe))

Roman cancel is done by pressing three buttons except dust at the same time. You can tell you do roman cancel by a red ring that comes off the character and the announcer says "Roman!"

Bridget is usually underestimated by the way that he looks so I notice that many people don't like using him. I think he is awesome! True he is one of the weakest characters on the whole game but you can do some awesome combos with him! And he moves so fast! Thanks for the video!

Actually, Bridget during the GGXX#R was among the best characters in the game. He was watered down in Isuka and Slash, but when GGXX was remade into Accent Core, Bridget remains in tier B I believe.

Oh. I see. See I have Guilty Gear Isuka for the PS2 and he is really weak strength wise in that game. But I love using him none the less. You can make him a constant barrage of teddy bear madness!!! Everyone hates me using him becuase they can't believe that he can actually win against super strong people like Potemkin. But he can! But I guess I know now that he is even better in GGXX#R! I am going to have to get that one now!

With all the setups and combos and timing on button mashing it's very hard to use him.

Yeah he does have some of the hardest combos. None of my friends can use him. But I love using him. I think that he is a constant barrage once learned! One of the best characters on the whole game no doubt about it! Besides the harder the combos the more fun for me!!! I love hard games that actually pose some kind of challenge!!! Usually I finish most games in a day or so. This game took me about 2 weeks! I LOVE THIS GAME!!! Games like this one are rare! Guilty Gear is AWESOME!!!

the basic combo to bridget involves the kick to a 6S to the J,S,2S,JC,S,2S,236P ie Bread and butter combo. which almost always kills half your health save potemkin, almost a guaranteed death to chip though :D. i found out that you CAN do these combo's in Isuka! omg never knew. save that she turns around when she throws so you'll manually have to turn around to retaliate against any wake up.
