There's nothing wrong wit' battling just to sell records. It's good for hip hop. A nice healthy competition. Budden & Saigon had personal problems towards each other, so they went back n forth on each other, and were plannin on boxin it out, which was stopped from a mutual party. Aint nobody emulatin big n pac because those 2 ended up dead. They had probs, n they dealt with it. They settled shit like real men n got back to doin wat they do. No 1 wanted dis 2 go on 4 eva, or see ne1 get killed

Having battles to sell records isn't selling out. Here's a little history lesson since you clearly need 1. Hip-Hop started off with MCs battling out. It was good for hip hop and got lots of people listening to it. Beef brings the best out of MCs. So for you to call it "selling out" shows how little you know about Hip Hop
