Some of a third season may have been filmed. Supposedly Fire Walk With Me was filmed with some stuff from the third season in mind. For instance David Bowies character mentions a girl named 'Judy' who was supposed to appear in the 3rd season. Besides isn't it fairly standard to start filming the next season before the last one has finished airing? When during the 2nd season did they find out they were cancelled?

I was reading an online twin peaks FAQ sometime ago that stated that Mark Frost's crew had hypethetically written enough material to roll up to season 4 (I dont know what site I read it) also, some fans had writen a season 3 opener and Aurey Horn's character sounded spooky as she survived the explosion from the season 2 famous WTF ender. every fan fantasizes about what it would be like if it continued, but I feel we'll never know. Check her out in 'Boxing Helena', a movie directed by Sophia Coppola I think. Anyway, she was beautiful in that one. The Wraith with Charlie Sheen, a very young Sherilyn in that one. Before that she had a bit role as Penny in The Wild Life, a film starring Chris Penn. Also she had a cameo in David Lynch's Wild at Heart (she went through the windshield of a car in that one). She was in the episode of Friends called Phoebe's Ex-Partner where she played Chandler's love interest Ginger.

@Spirou12345678 Well, if you look at the footage that they are showing when they are talking about Twin Peaks, none of that footage was in Twin Peaks, which leads me to believe there was a season 3 episode shot but never broadcast or finished due to the bastards at NBC cancelling the show.

@y0uthagainstfacism If there was an episode shot for the 3rd season more people would know and it would be on one of the documentaries of the show, or one of the stars would mention the fact their was another episode. E! had obviously mistaken the Pilot as a season, and it's obvious that this is a 2nd season deleted scene because she mentions Diane Keaton directing an episode, which she did in season 2.
