@heinz551 The registration of the BA Concorde kept at LHR is G-BOAB aka Alpha Bravo and has been moved cons6tantly now residing at a spot in front of the iconic BA TBC office building with fences all around it.She will never fly again due to her cokcpit instruments being taken out for use on another Concorde and she was never modified after the Paris crash on 25/7/00.
@concordetejas4576 Thanks. When was it moved? I think its better sitting in the iconic location, where it can be seen. Rather than 'collecting dust' in the apron
@heinz551 If you take a look on my two videos on Concorde G-BOAB dated 30/4/11 then you will see where she is now parked but don't stay long there as you will get moved along or prosecuted by police for parking in an unauthorised area.If you follow the BA hangars up to Runway 27R then you will see her to your left through fences sitting in front of TBC so that is the answer to u r question.
Well I'm a BA pilot myself flying the a320's on the local routes from heathrow and I must say it's a great airport, i've seen worse. Heathrow is getting better, cleaner, and better than what you'd expect. Got to give it respect,im there pretty much everyday and I never had any problems except for the infamous BA 777 crash landing. (We were due to land right after it).
Nah It was'nt me on that one, I dont fly the A319's, just a320's and a321's. (depends on how many people we're flying). Nah I dont mind, I like it when people record my flight. lol. Yea the tower told me I had to say there was a slight accident on the runway and that we'll have to turn around and land at Gatwick. More than a slight airline but if I say an accident they'll get all scared.
I actually heard the 777 saying he wont be able to get it onto the runway I was like oh dear. could barely see him hit the ground but I had to turn so the passangers would'nt see.
I had a 45 min flight from LHR to CDG in August 07. I took an A321 there and a A320-100 back I think. I don't think I saw any winglets (airbus ones). They were good flights. Not a huge wait for takeoff and landing (the best parts)!
Perfect landing!! Great video!!

nice vid, where the flaps full? they didn't look it
utd4life09 2 years ago
@utd4life09 No they werent. To comply with quicker landing speeds at LHR due to traffic density, flap 3 is all that is needed :D

kyleg1471 2 years ago
That's impossibe, you can only fly a certain amount of hours a week, and BA's working week is 4 Days...
Ben123planes 2 years ago
Wow, my sister is flying that route with ef tours in just 2 days, it seems like its hard to be a pilot.
garlex134 3 years ago
Its not hard, it can be a little stressful sometimes. but its the most exiting and challenging job ever.

I wonder if you flew me two weeks ago on a LHR BRU? I recorded that one as well! It was an A319.
I do agree with you. I love Terminal 5.
Amazing that you were behind the 777. What type of announcement did you make to the passengers?
