This whole DVD is brilliant. I have read hundreds of books on spirituality over many years, but the content of this DVD has helped me understand subtle aspects of the spiritual path that I have not found in books. The whole DVD is almost 2 hours long. I have seen it about 30 times. I get more out of it each time. They did an amazing job in this dialogue. One hundred Stars!!! I don't believe I am overstating it's value for those who are ready.
@nowbellhere Hey check out the david hawkins video on 'the final run' . It can help people who have been involved in spirituality for a long time. Peace :)
This is a really amazing experience. The dialogue flows if you just surrender to the possibility of expressing what really can't be expressed. This is a truly authentic attempt to understand awakening and the work that follows. You have to turn off your thinking mind and let your intuition take over. I am so grateful for the experience.
You know I often find dime-store gurus trying to make thier points underneath our non-duality friends' videos here, and what I really want to day is...who gives a fuck?
For JUSTRELAXANENJOY: I fully agree with going within and practicing nothingness. It is very important and helps us to clear our minds. But it is also very important then to get up and take responsibility: We are all responsible to be the stewards of this planet, because we have the ability to plan ahead.
Yes, but I also have been an activist during my non believing time. Love does not need a god. It comes from within. Good Gods are just there to make life less scary.
fascinating, it was wonderful to hear other people having the same experiences I am having and discussing it enthusiastically, to be able to relate to others in this fashion is exciting! Watching myself awaken and the world awaken is truly remarkable beyond my wildest dreams, almost like I'm living the fairytail I told myself.
Thanks, very good questions well elaborated(managed to put in words a very indescribable perceptions) and wonderfully comments by Adyashanti. Just wonder full
You cannot unconditionally love if you are attached. The attachment itself is a conditionning, leading us to believe that what we feel is "love". Many people ask this question and it's understandable : using the same word (love) for two phenomena so different is very misleading.
If you abide in your natural state - just as that silent aware presence that you are - ...just simply BE as you are, before thoughts arises - you´re unconditioned - and in that unconditioned state you ARE LOVE !!
For JUSTRELAXANENJOY: Thanks for commenting. I have observed that a lot of people who talk about love in detachment don't appreciate it when someone is an animal rights activist. How do you feel about this?
...I have noticed that II - and I have observed that also lot of the "all is one - everything´s just illusion - just Leela - a game where noone was born and noone really dies...and nothing happens..."-people ;-> use this to undock from each´n´every sense of responsibility... - but this is just... sort of perverted allegation - and totally missing the point!
feel inside and ask yourself honestly - if your wish to help is an act to feel better, or more worthy - OR is it because of a deep felt necessity from your heart.
Cause ego can come up with variety of disguises - even as the greatest philanthropist.
For StoneAgeFox: I do not help because I was conditioned in that way. I help because it bothers me when another feeling being is suffering or in need.
Ok, but think why does it bothers you? Why so many people are not bothered by world's suffering? You bother because you are conditioned to bother and they are conditioned in other way, hence different behaviour. There is no praise and blame here, just diverse conditioning.
For StoneAgeFox: No, not every one is conditioned. The psychologist Skinner was wrong and so were all the other behaviorist psychologists in the 50th and 60th. Current scientific knowledge proves that genetic dispositions are the dominant factors in behavior. I'm not blaming anyone either.
I don't know how exactly do you understand the word "conditioning". I don't use it in some psychological context. By that word I simply mean that witch predetermines our behaviour, and it's probably the sum of our biochemistry (genes) and experiences we have gone thru (memory/knowledge).
For Nicolatwo: You know in this DVD they speak about two kinds of love; impersonal and personal. The impresonal really ends up being much more intimate because it is not connected to the ego.

your true nature is sinful. the only remedy for sin is the BLOOD OF JESUS.
followers of these teachings will be awakened but to a dark light.

Unconditionnal love emerges when you realize that you are one with everything, and actually that everyone is too, even if they don't realize it yet.

Tsem Tulku Rinpoche talks about this issue as well. My question is >How can you unconditionally love without being attached?<

feel inside and ask yourself honestly - if your wish to help is an act to feel better, or more worthy - OR is it because of a deep felt necessity from your heart.

For JUSTRELAXANENJOY: I help animals and the environment because they need help from all of us. I feel strong love and that's why I help.

So do it! What's the problem? You help because you are conditioned in that way.
