  • What the name of the kick at 0:10 ?

  • Dude, it looked so nice when u were kicking with the backpack!

  • Im a blue belt now i almost broke my knee because of kicking.. then i stopped... thumbs up if u want to continue my lessons every thumbs up gives me courage to fight thank u everybody

  • KARATE lacks hip movement so their is no weight behind the kick, muay thai fights kick WAY harder. its the differents from being slap and being punched, he slaps his targets

  • @rushby7

In correct comparison the slap goes through the target and punch is pulled back, so karate kick is the actual punch and the MT kick is the slap. There is hip behind karate kick, it's just less obvious. See Paul's Elasticsteel account for more info.

  • @rushby7 Some Muay Thai kicks are much stronger than karate kicks, but karate kicks work on snap so they are much faster

  • @rushby7 You might want to pay closer attention to the entire body

  • @smsjgoku maybe u should pay closer attention, i already know he leaves his face exposed when throwing his kick( i know i always protect my head with my hands up when throwing but im sure u don't have much of a brain to protect) , and he hits with his foot ( a good way to break it) if you have any real force, which he dosent because he lacks hip movement

  • @rushby7 sorry mr genius I can tell from your comment how clever and open to the world you, you must never be wrong about anything

  • @rushby7 blah blah blah muay thai is supreme and above every other martial arts blah blah blah

    calm down

  • his kicks are hitting the pad like that cuz he's wearing his shoes. :] take those shoes off and the kicks wouldn't seem as impressive.

  • Your kicks are great

I wish to do same as you but it will take long time.

Can you tell me how long are you doing material arts?

I'm doing karate (shotokan) just for 2 years.

  • @jeremimichal

Paul's channel is ElasticSteel. It's not how long you train, but how you train.

  • Great and most impressive!

  • damn those kicks are lethal

  • respect with karate ! taekwondo suck !

  • @mavin174 Those kicks are in taekwondo dude and taekwondo was influence by karate especially shotokan karate. Besides his stance is high. Most karate stances (especially back stance) are deep stances. Dont get stuck on martial arts names that use the same techinque.

  • @mavin174

SHUTUP LOSER TAEKWONDO IS BETTER THEN KARATE

  • man this dude can kick really good!!!!

  • Very Very Nice ! i think in past you must hard train !

  • This video is of Paul Zaichik.

Actually he trains people to kick like this in few months.

You must train smart, not hard.

In other words, you must know what you are doing.

  • @Bodyweightculture

Bull shit. You can't be that good after 3 months. You are selling lies. You can teach someone and improve their kicking quite a lot but to be this precise after 3 months is a bunch of bull shit.

  • @cutthatcity

lol It depends how you train.

  • @cutthatcity I agree I have been practicing martial arts for years. There are some martial arts clubs that just take money from you and grade you for just turning up. There are others where you will work very hard and pay less for real gradings and far better instruction over longer time scales. Paul has great skills through working hard a lot longer than a few years. He is here to help his free video uploads are fantastic. But he cant give everythig away for nothing.

  • Nice kicks!

  • Thanks for the comment.
