Do u find that it gets darker during the day? I heard powder foundations oxidize so u should buy a lighter shade. Have u found this true with NARS powder foundation?

oh wow thats horrible, if studio fix did not break u out, do you think the overall look and finish is better than nars or vice versa? or same?

@jasmineislovely1 Yeah, girl I was devastated! It took about 3 months to get things back to normal. I would say the studio fix was really nice. It makes your face flawless especially if you spray a lil fix plus on afterward. So if you can wear it with no breakouts, its a nice powder that give full coverage. The nars is good but is more light coverage than medium/full

@jasmineislovely1 NC40-NC42..no I dont use studio fix powder, tried it, loved it, until after one week I broke out with cystic acne all over my face.

@jasmineislovely1 Yes I still use the foundation. They discontinued the color so I switched to Tahoe. I can wear Tahoe or Syracuse depending on how dark I get.

i've been looking into the nars powder foundations and there's 2 of them. are they both basically the same except one has spf 12? and do you think they're similar to mac's studio fix powder.

I would say that the studio fix is thicker and that one cause me horrible breakouts. Its good if u dont have breakouts from it. NARS gives a decent coverage and feels natural

Ohhh. If you like fix+ you should try the evian facial spray. It's so much cheaper ( I'm pretty sure) and IRS basically the same thing. :)

I really liked that NARS does refills too...it was one of the things that attracted me to it. I heard about the Eve Pearl but that price is a lil much! I really have to stop shopping, its getting out of hand! LOL

That's nice that Nars sells refills for the foundation... I want to try the Eve Pearl foundation but I think it's something like $56... that's a little nuts... my luck it would turn out to be my HG and I don't think I would want to spend that much on a foundation all of the time. Oy, between makeup and clothes we could all end up in the poor house!!
