I would of loved to remain British, we had protection from the best empire and army in the world at the time. But the way we were treated, was just wrong. America is our child, we found it and developed the thirteen colonies which set up the States today. The competition of countries is ludicrous. For such a small island, in the centre of the world, it's still an amazing feat which should be explored in our education and not ignored, both the good and bad aspects because it's such a large part of our history, heritage and huge impact on the world.
