ahahaha - you quote my message from 1+ month ago pretending you're a smart ass right?
well, FYI, I like Marco and I'm really happy he's FINALLY showing that he can play on the NBA, which he DID NOT in the past year and a half, period.
And your number are somewhat inflated - he's averagind 15ppg on 45% from the FIELD and ~40% from 3pt but still his defense needs to improve badly, he needs to train on lateral movement and getting physical - he's still tossed around too easily.
come on guys, don't let your emontions screw up your minds...
Morror is a spetacular shooter - and have EVER been. He's still raw in pretty much everything else, but he's a FAR BETTER and CONSISTENT shooter than Belinelli, PERIOD.
Marco IS good. But good is not enough in this league... Marco has little bball IQ in transition, is a poor defender with limited lateral movement and always seem to bit the head-fake of his opponent...
Still, I like him, but just don't call Nelson an idiont, please
Gee... I'm watching him over the last 2 years. Marco is a streaky shooter - today he goes for 10/12 FGs, tomorrow 3/12 - too irregular, this is his main problem. He's a career 33% 3pt fg... too low for a pure shooter.
I'm sorry, I do like him, but he NEEDS gain consistency on his jumpshooting - pretty much like Morrow.
And with the arrive of Jamal Crawford, his chances become even slim. :-(
comee onn.morrow make the game of his life...sure he's a great shooter but he's an average athlete or less, and sucks in defense more than belinelli.Belinelli got way more talent than morrow, who he's only a shooter.also belinelli is but he could makes many many others things if nelson gave him a chance to show his real talent.
Belinelli absolutely needs to play more, especially in front of Anthony Morrow. Morrow made his first few shots in the NBA, then gets 20+ minutes the next game?!?! Where was Belinelli's chance when he first came? Where is it now? With his few shot attempts this season, he's second in FG% on the Warriors behind Wright. Maybe with DeMarcus in the D League for a bit, Marco will get some PT.
Don Nelson is an idiot... enough said. Whenever he puts Marco in, he scores points. Regardless of how well he performs or how well the team is doing, he gets pulled and put back on the bench. Don't try to blame his defense for his lack of playing time because with the exception of Biedrins, nobody on the warriors is a consistently good defender.
No, Marco IS a good NBA player. He has only the "luky" to have Nelson as coach which don't give him the possibility to show what he is able to do. But, of course, this is my opinion and i'm NOT a NBA coach..

At this point I hope Belinelli went in New Jersey, maybe there he could demonstrate his talent

ahahahahahha
lol @ all these comments here
Just because Marco had some good minutes against the Kings (highlited on this video) this does not mean he's good
Have you checked all his misses and bad court decisions?
I like Belinelli but Don Nelson sees the guy every single day in practice and he knows what he can and what he can't do....
moreover, Marco is a poor defender and most opponents offensive sets run over him, for obivous reasons
Marco will be a good NBA player, tough, no worries
Gauchoo1234 3 years ago
Moreover, he's getting regular minutes every game now and yesterday he played well while on court agains the Tiberwolves
I hope he became the next Drazen Petrovic, something I thought that Sarunas Jasikevicius would be

i think he needs a shot, nelson should start him once or twice to see what he can do
thepieguy7 3 years ago
100% Agree.
Actually I think he should be tested as a point guard, I believe he would do much better than CJ Watson, DeMarcus Nelson and Marcus Williams (lol)
