Well, went from 12 mil to 26, to 28 in about an hour. I can routinely score around 7-10 mil now. I just have problems with the holes. I can't seem to knock them out fast enough and I get enemies that slingshot around into my hull.

I have this same problem. I keep scoring around 8 - 9 million using these techniques, but I don't nearly have enough luck with the black holes. I either crash into it because I didn't shoot it fast enough or a guy is slung into me.

I'm probably stating the obvious but don't try this if your not good at the game or ok but not brilliant or else your just asking to get annoyed, You have to be bloody good to survive that long and have lightning reactions and use bombs as infrequent as he does. it only leads to frustation. If you are very good at the game however this is a perfect guide

As for scoring over 100 Million, it takes a lot of luck and skill. Search it on youtube, I saw a game like that before.

Why does everybody circle around the screen hoping for a gate? This is a bad strategy, if you hope to end up in the top ten. You have to play the middle as well as the outside. So many points wasted in this vid. It is a good strategy for advancing your score, if you're a beginner, but you have to take a lot of chances if you want anything close to 50 mil.

This is actually a really bad strategy for this game. You need at least 400 Multipliers by 2:00 and 1500-2000 by 1:00. I wouldve quit this game less than a minute in if I were playing it but I wouldnt have been playing this way to begin with.

By killing enemies with the black holes for the bonus multiplyer do you mean using the explosion from the black hole, or actually having them sucked in and then killing the black hole?

Also, if a bunch of enemies get sucked into the black hole and it overloads and explodes, do you still get the same amount of poins that you would for destroying it yourself, or do you get less?

when you destroy a black hole it blow up with a really wide blast radius. Any enemies in the radius will give you 5x points. If it sucks up enemies and becomes so unstable it blows up, the points don't count, you have to blow it up yourself to get the extra points.

k thanks alot. Ive noticed if you die they really take alot longer to give you a black hole and gates as well. It doesnt seem worth it to continue after one death at all. Have you noticed that them releasing the snakes, gates and black holes is really random? Is there anything that determines that? Like a geom number that you hit and then they release a certain thing?

You got some GREAT spawns there. The gates and black holes were spawning mostly along the edges and almost nothing spawned in front. The worst black hole spawn you got was the last one where you kamikazed for the points. Great job, though - the key is that your aim was on point and you didn't miss anything you were aiming at, really.

basically with both the black holes and the gates is that when they are blown up they take out a large group of enemies with a 5x your original multiplier. black holes have a much larger radius for their explosion, but are in general much more risky to use because of how much they can speed up enemies and the risk of them exploding into the annoying little blue things. both the gates and the holes are needed to be used intelligently to get a high score.

Is there a limit to how many enemies gates can kill? There is a bit at around 3:20 where you activate a gate and a *lot* more enemies survive than I thought would have. Great vid btw.

well the gates blast radius is kinda small which makes it hard to navigate away from the blast, through the enemies which survived.

Great video. I reccomend using the time between 2:30 to about 1:45 just running back and forth across the top collecting lots and lots of geoms. I have been up to X1500. My real problem is surviving well enough after I get a good multiplier up. I am ranked 245 ATM. Whenever I have a good luck run I should beat that pretty easy though.Kudos for your vid,

I just posted a vid of my efforts. I have a terrible habit of death at the stupidest times while surviving what seems impossible odds. I missed a gate at the very end which would of put me past my high score easy to. Sequence will probably be my next venture. I have yet to bother getting the smilie achievement.
