@aaaberg I don't have any special settings, I do have UAC disabled though. Other than that it installed without a hitch through Steam. Hardware can effect it too, check the minimum specs, some games won't even start if you can't run it at certain settings, make sure you tweak them so they're on minimum settings at first, they go up gradually and see what it can run at. I got this running on a single-core system 3.4 GHz and an old AGP slot radeon X850. If you're on internal graphics don't bother.

@sailboard511 Actually, it is 7. I changed the taskbar to be smaller and not combine the icons.
