  • See I keep crashing and burning

  • My teacher broke my nose in 5th grade that I passed out

  • What a cute kid..

  • He shouldn't be touching that little girl in such a rough way. She's a girl and she should be treated like one. Playing or not he needs to know how to respect girls at a young age and know that if he wants to play around like that then he should do that with boys.

  • My biggest problem in public school was teachers who bullied and encouraged the other children to do the same. I am convenced certain people become teachers so they can become dictators on a small scale to fulfill their God complex.

  • @PinkPunkyKat

I'm not trying to be disrespectful to teachers, there are lots of great ones out there but I have to agree w/you. I had some MAJOR issues with some teachers in school. Other teachers said I was their favorite student, but I acted the same in both classes. I just wouldn't yield blindly to authority, still dont. some teachers loved my independene and some hated me for it. Teachers are just like everybody else, some are cool and some are idiots and some let power go to their heads.

  • @PhilCommander2 I believe some people PURPOSELY become teachers to fullful their God complex and if someone tries to correct them they can punish them because they are being "disrectful".

  • My girl is the same way. He really doesn't know why he misbehaved. It makes it hard to prevent it again,. Your son does a better job of analyzing the sitation. My daughter gets upset and says "let's talk about something else" which also makes it hard.

  • My oldest daughter is autistic and sorry to say, there seem to be a lack of discipline in that household.

  • o m g my name is dylan and my twin brother's name is ryan!

  • chin up kid, use your wit to fuck with the people who make you sad

  • Well done, Dad.

  • what a very honest kid

  • lol i love how he says "skripes" it makes me smile..i swear i've watched this over 100 times

  • what a sweet boy! good job dad :)

  • My son is 7 years old and has autism. this kid reminds me of my baby so much. My little guy does not talk as well as the boy? Now I'm ready to confront this speach therapist. This bitch aint good at all! My son don't nearly talk as well as this kid!

  • aww :( poor thing :\

  • great parenting

    beautiful child

  • I got a mild form of autisme, since I got checked out for it ive been searching as to why Im affected by it, refusing to believe I got it from my parents genes.

So far the most logical is the thimerosol (mercury)in vaccines, apperantly brain tissue absorbs that 6times more then the rest of your body.

Im thinking of not giving my kids vaccines when I get em, because the more I research on vaccines the more I get disgusted by it.

I got 17 vaccines in my first year of life, 11 had thimerosol.

  • And I disbelieve the vaccines theory, cause we still have almost the same rate of autistic people now and back then before those vaccines were invented...

If that was true, we would have an autism epidemic with figures like half of the population, not the same figures we had 50 years ago...

  • he is going to grow up to be a brave boy

  • He is so sweet! Great parenting :)

    He's a very funny boy!

  • lol that made me laugh so bad when he said They had you in a cage lol,

  • "so you didn't do any kissing? Whew, what a relief!"

I'd say the same thing lol

  • Great post! He's just gorgeous. How lucky for Jake to have such a a great family, how lucky for you to have him!

  • I love this video! My son is 6 and has autism. He just watched it with me, when Jake says he doesn't like school my son says "just like me!" lol

  • thanks for sharing this,i have had a nightmare with my son who is 7 with aspergers, excluded from one school and another accepting him which is totally the wrong school!

  • It won't be long until he is targetted by the teachers and treated like a terrorist suspect (well I hope that isn't the casethough - I had that problem - my bloody parents sucked up to the fucks at school though - and personally I feel like destroying all the schools with the teachers inside it...)

  • Im a parent. I dont suck up to the fucks. I argue and threaten the teachers and principal. i am always ready to sue and go to the media. I get better results this way, instead of being sweet and nice. they take full advantage of the weak! a great parent always side with their child!

  • @nrbritton: +1

  • I'm so pleased to see you've bred.

  • @paleblueinvancouver I am confused by your posting. Wanna try again sweetheart. did you spell "Bred" incorrectly. I am not sure what you mean by "so pleased you've (you have) bred"? You do realize that I am a human being and not an animal. Did your patents give you free time on the computer on this day... It ok precious... try again little one...

  • @nrbritton Yes, and puerile helicopter parents such as yourself are awarded with autistic children and low salaries. Grow up.

  • @tacotacohoyhoy who are you??? I see you are doing a lot of deflecting. You may live in a low income household, but poor people are just as good as anybody else in the world. Yes you are! Do you have some form of Mental retardation? And where are your parents? Kids should not surf the internet alone. Remember GOD loves you, he really does!!! I will pray for you @tacotacohoyhoy. Now, I going to block you... sweet innocent soul ; (

  • @nrbritton Naturally, a childish reply. You've affirmed my original comment :)

  • @tacotacohoyhoy you are disturbed. There is no hope for someone so hopeless. Pray cannot help such a damaged individual. Look at you username, it's proof of your dementia. Stop stalking me, before I press charges against you and your parents.

  • That's some accent he's got. What country was he adopted from?

  • i loove him,

    he's adorableee <3

  • You have beautiful children, G-d bless them, and you for having the patience and strength to grow with your child...

  • Why do you have to dash out God?

  • "were you in a cage??" that is so sweet! He is amazing. I love your talks

  • this is very nice, the only thing i have a problem with is the title

Jake HAS Autism. The person ALWAYS should come before whatever disorder he or she may have. Calling someone by their disorder first means you value the disorder before them. It is something we as educators are reminded of day in and day out. If you ever have anyone call your child "Autism Jake", please correct them. He is Jake first and foremost. :-D

    Have a blessed day.

  • I can see why you would read it that way but the truth is that I start off just about all the titles of my videos with the word "Autism".

So no, we dont call him "autism jake" ;)

  • WOW! His processing has increased 10 fold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His speech is so much clearer too!!! I alsmost cried watching this. Your babies are adorable Phil!

  • Thank you for sharing this video with us, My son is so much like your son, he is not as far along conversationally yet but he is only 4 1/2. I love the way our children with autism speak in such a literal way. It makes life more fun!

  • He's so cute;)

  • hes cool.

    and hes adorable.

    your lucky.

  • "You were in a cage?"

    OMG!

  • thats his word for prison! lol

he got obsessed with the idea that bad people go to prison (they put you in a cage).

and no, ive never been to prison or jail. except once when i had to go to scared straight.

  • God bless his heart.

    you're a great father.

please a keep a close relationship with your son.

I love how you share your past experiences to let him see that everyone makes mistakes.

AND THEN HE REMEMBERED IT OH MY GOSH.

  • Adorable! :D I love it!

  • This is great.

  • Ive got asperers syndrome and I also had alot of bad school days. Your relationship with jake...is brillant. I wish mine was like that with my dad. You've got a real special kid there!

  • i am proud of ur child he is so cute and just love him with all ur might.....PLEASE!!!!!!

i saw a video and thier child had asperers szndrome and thez were reallz mean to their son dont turn out like that!!! PLEASE I LOVE HOW U TREAT UR SON KEEP ON AT IT ITS SO SWEET!!!!!

  • Ive got to say Phil i just love your relationship with your kids. Its all based on honesty and trust. WONDERFUL!

Does jake attend a mainstreem school or special needs school?

  • Wow, good work with Jake. He's doing awesome!

  • hee hee, Phil, he remembers what you say verrrrry well. You have a beautiful family.

  • Jake's doing great. It's nice to see that he's coming along nicely. It has been awhile since we have seen him.

  • Research thimersol as a preservative in vaccines and its connection to autism.Tons of info on the FDA govt website.Feds know about it and consider it an acceptable to risk a few kids getting autism,to benefit the population protection from other diseases.

  • You have beautiful children. Jake is doing great. I can see that all those talks you have are doing wonders for Jake You two have a great relationship.

  • Wow! He has grown up so much in the last year, and shows so much progress! You can be proud!

  • Phil,

Nice Vid!! I will be in tommarow if you want to chat

  • Your mom broke a broom over your back? Hardcore, man!

I'm the same way with my memory too. Sometimes I don't remember what my best friend and I talked about the night before on the phone, but I can talk about all sorts of seemingly insignificant memories of what happened on a particular day 11 years ago.

  • yeah, chased me around the house until she caught me and got whacking until the broom broke! I tease her about it all the time and the only thing she says is "You deserved every hit you ever got!".

    LOL...and i did! i loved pushing buttons.

  • omg Phil, you have such a beautiful family. thank you for sharing this!!!

  • Was Jake in kindergarten when this happened? He is talking so well-Ashton turned 5 in May and isn't this conversational yet--and he just started kindergarten. He's talking, just not conversational really.

  • the first video is kindergarten and the newer footage is 1st grade. its about 10 months or so apart in time.Jake is 7.5 yrs old and 2.5 yrs ago there was no conversation.

  • thanks Phil--your experiences really help b/c when your child isn't developing the way the "What to Expect" books say they should it is good to have a little something to go by-or hope by :)

  • @TheCommanders my brother Aaron Has PDD Autism and i have the traits of it like the stimming and the toe walking but i dont have autism i have ADHD attention deficit hyperactivity disorder

  • Love this video. Good lesson. Also a good lesson in that children remember everything that affects them emotionally. Jake, even down to his thought processing and facial expressions is a lot like my son, although Jake is much further along conversationally.

  • Jake looks like he has a strong intrest in doing good in school.Phil dont you be laughing about getting kicked out of school in front of the kids.

  • nah john, i believe in honesty. I do think it was funny how often i got thrown out of school and i have never been good at putting up a front with anyone in life.
