I haven't seen anywhere that Jr said he supports any plan to privatize social security as the ad states. Have you? I certainly could have missed it and was wondering if yuo could point me in the direction of someplace that says it.
In 2000, Kean jr told the AP that he supported the Bush plan to put a portion of people's "Social Security payroll taxes into a private investment account they would manage." He said the same thing to his local paper at the time, The Westfield Leader. More recently, in May and June of 2005, Kean jr voted against a NJ state senate resolution asking Congress to reject Bush's plans for Social Security privatization. It's pretty obvious Tom Kean Jr is pro-privatization.
O.k., so partial privatization. I am o.k.with that. Thanks for the info!
