  • Just heard this on the Soul Train Re-Run on the Bounce Network CDT. Like the vibes Mo is playing on this and earlier dates on EWF. Still sounds Good.

  • This songs make me feel HAPPY!!!

  • OMGoodness! Happy Feeling Yall!

  • EW ILLUMINATI!!!

  • heard this the other day,man did it take me back....

great music from REAL musicans, not auto-tune BULLSHIT!

  • from the northern soul album? Well 2 words to that - Wigan Pier

  • all wow man I remember being 5 yrs old playing this on my drum set.Thats when my Dad said shiiiit! "He playing da shit outta dem toy sets".Let me get da real joints 4 him.I was da happiest kid in my block. And it wasnt even christmas either.

  • I used to Skate my ass off on this joint lol.

These old knees prevent that now,but I'm

    Still full of Happy Feelings! PEACE2U ;-}

  • @jdpatterson100 ....party on.....great music never dies....!!!!

  • That's the music I like, don't need to get drunk, to dance to it =D

  • I love this song make me feel good everytime i listen to it, trully a feel good song.

  • @ediaby43 I was just thinking the same thing. Love this song!

  • I weep for our kids today.. They have no IDEA what real music sounds like..

  • @skinsman3 not all of us listen to the garbage out there today, we just arent exposed to it. I'm lucky enough to have been.

  • @skinsman3 Most kids know that music is the sound of gunshots and violence in skits, drug trafficking, and nigga nigga/bitches and hos. That's not music in my oppinion, but garbage! Also, hearing about prescription drug abuse and wrist-slitting ain't so flattering either. The really emotionally disturbed children are listening to that stuff as a justification for indulging in self destructive behaviors.

  • From chicago il southside.Im so damn glad im51. we got to taste so much good stuff and we know the true meaning of african american pride. we had martin malcolm medgar evers .nikki gionvanni etc.we had the cream of the crop in our faces.back then 10 black girls would not attact a pregnant girl black or white.(seattle)damn we n trouble. yeah EWF..talk about great lyrics.spiritual..NOn spiritual people will perish.

  • @006denzel im from chicago too...but im only 32...how i wish i could go back in your time!HOLLA!!!

  • @006denzel Yea, We perish while we're still "alive"...The upright, living dead. We can share the love & transform it all.

  • @RedFlagCoalition Well, talk to them, share your heart, find a way. They're human,it's in them, we just gotta dig deeper, but first,in ourselves, and see how we can become greater and up to the task at hand. That's what I say...and,why Not?! Everyone always talks about,"The kids of today!" Remember that? We're just rearranging the words,me too.

  • This is the album in which I "discovered" EWF. There are indeed some incredible cuts on this album. But I will always remember listening to this song and "All About Love" over and over. I was 12y/o and would visit my sister's and brother-inlaw's house in Baton Rouge. The first thing I'd do was play this album.

  • Breakdance music!

  • How can anyone sit still to this?? Verdine White is playing his ass off!

  • I haven't heard this tune in years, had forgotten about it . This cut and so,so many others of this era (70s) can rock the airwaves NOW! With most of today's "music", I feel sorrow for tha youngstas.

  • Hey Baby Boomers let's get busy. You know who you are. Lets finally have our day. We have been waiting to rebel for sooooooo long. Come on and call your Congressman and Senatore and Bitch to them. Some bitchen to your spouce and or significant other. Bitch to the guys who are suppose to be watching our backs. Tell them to get up and dance to our tune. That is their job after all. Make them remember it.

  • @dmadscott7 yeah yesterdays music you actually had to have talent and a unique sound in order to become famous. now a days all you need is your computer and you're instantly famous. R. Kelly and bruno mars and m&m are the only musicians left other than the people who do metal which really isnt music

  • @dmadscott7 Hail to that

  • Feeling In The Illuminati LOL...

  • @ConrissioMusic You think your happy? Wait till you gain entry into The Illuminati :p

  • yeahh sick basss!

  • I'm glad to here that!!! However I still say that nobody today plays that instrument in the USA...They are so use to using others music and adding computer enhancement to the voices...I miss the Old Days where music had you close your eyes and take a Trip without leaving your room!!!

  • Maze (HQ) - Happy Feelings Ft Frankie Beverly..check it out

  • EWF HAD SOME DOPE "SIDE B" TRACKS!!!

  • The Horn section is UNREAL!

  • No one as of now knows anything about The Kalimba...Maurice White is the only one whoever played it!!!

  • @rodimus48prime Actually Taj Mahal played the Kalimba before Maurice did along with thousands of other African musicians..The instrument has been around for thousands of years...

  • @rodimus48prime Is that the Kalimba at 2:47...

  • @Vvrroommm - Yes that is Maurice playing the Kalimba

  • @r59691 srry, ima close it right now --'

  • @r59691 Plenty of us "children" appreciate good music as well I was raised on EWF and have seen em twice i just wish my generation was more aware of how good music with musicality actually is

  • @cechix and he dances his ass off on stage and does not miss one note.....craziness.

    This is great music...not good.

  • @cechix YOU KNOW THAT....ONE OF THE GREATEST BASS PLAYERS THAT EVER LIVED (IN MY HUMBLE OPINION).

  • @cechix I agree lol

  • @cechix verdine at his best!

  • @ltinsley2 AGREED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • whats with this 'northern soul' thing getting hold of all great music and calling it there own!!!???-this isnt 'northern soul' just great soul music !!!

  • @bernieplop Well, it was played extensively at Blackpool Mecca as a hot new release in 1975 alongside a mixture of "rare 60s" and contemporary Soul music, and was later picked up and spun at more traditional "Northern Soul" venues, so has become regarded as a 'Northern Soul' club hit by default. It remains Disco-Funk/Afro-Jazz Soul (or however you want to define it), nonetheless.

  • hey now, like that style thank you for the volume, now that's what I'm talking about happy feeling. and so it is. amen

  • Brill!
