What city is that shooting range at? I live in new mexico and i have never seen that range, or heard about it?

@Hurricane810kr dude u have no idea how lucky you are, here in CT one of the most unfriendly gun state, we have to drive 1hour and 45 min to a 50 yard range, pay $30 and have to be harrassed by range saftey officers if we fire more than 2 rounds every 4 seconds

@vall11z Interchangeable? Between the REPRs or between other plaforms such as the DPMS LR308 and SR25? By barrel do you mean the barrel with barrel extension or complete upper? Please clarify and I'll be able to give you a better answer.

@Hurricane810kr sorry about that. I meant to ask if you could remove the barrel in your upper and place another barrel of shorter or longer length on the same upper(changing out the bolt for the different caliber of course). Some systems such as the DTS SRS and Bushmaster ACR allow you to do that. Just wondering if the REPR had this capability. Thanks again!

@vall11z No problem. The barrels are not quick change - I think LWRCs original intention was just to have complete uppers and have an end user buy two uppers for one lower. Such as having the 12" for CQB and the 20" for distance work. No other calibers either - you're stuck to shooting 7.62x51 with the REPR.

@SayNo2Terror 16" If you're going to do nothing but long range, supported shooting get the 20", otherwise the 16" will get you out at least to 600 and be easier to handle.

@RetreatHell I like my REPR, but need to get the mag issue fixed. On the waiting list to send it back to LWRC for the mod/fix. Once it runs 100% I think it will be a prime opponent for the SR25s and LaRue OBR. I can't really compare it to an AR10 or DPMS LR308 since it costs 2-3 times as much.

I'd stick with a REPR...you can walk in any store and find .308/7.62 ammo. Not the same with 6.8.
