I don't think making the black civil rights movement and the LGBT movement equal in terms of suffrage is fair at all. No one has owned any LGBTs (that I know of, history isn't my best subject), or had them as slaves, etc. In terms of "the new thing everyone's discriminating against" that is true, at least in my opinion.

I think it's disgusting to use religion as a reason to hate gay people. My cousin is a 100% active christian, but her best friend is 100% lesbian. She didn't care how much my aunt said it was wrong, that was her best friend, and she was always there for her. My cousin is an amazing, loving girl. And she didn't let her religion get in the way of being a friend. I wish the world could love everyone the way my cousin does.

The right to marry somebody you love (and who loves you in return) should be given to all human beings. In the past, multiracial marriages were prevented. Gender, race: it's not exactly the same, but it's close. Nobody should be denied the right to express their love for someone simply because of who they are. I hope that Prop 8 will be overturned.

His study has been replicated many times since then and during those studies many other genes associated with homosexuality have been identified. not to mention the hundreds of animals who display homosexuality behavior. gay is natural,but dont take my word for it. do some research.

I do think that there is a descriminaltion towards gays. I know that lots of people are very strong haters on gays. I think it's disgusting to use religion as a reason to hate gay people. My cousin is a 100% active christian, but her best friend is 100% lesbian. She didn't care how much my aunt said it was wrong, that was her best friend, and she was always there for her. My cousin is an amazing, loving girl. And she didn't let her religion get in the way of being a friend. I wish the world could love everyone the way my cousin does.

I agree 100% that gay marriage is a civil/human rights issue. I'd never heard anybody else articulate that before...but I truly believe that it is! The right to marry somebody you love (and who loves you in return) should be given to all human beings. In the past, multiracial marriages were prevented. Gender, race: it's not exactly the same, but it's close. Nobody should be denied the right to express their love for someone simply because of who they are. I hope that Prop 8 will be overturned.

His study has been replicated many times since then and during those studies many other genes associated with homosexuality have been identified. not to mention the hundreds of animals who display homosexuality behavior. gay is natural,but dont take my word for it. do some research.

can a leopard change its spots? can an ethiopian change its skin??? Of course not. We cannot change. Once we embrace a certain lifestyle, we cannot simply walk out of it. This is why people need Jesus. Only he can change us but we must be willing to acknowledge that we do not know all and need love to guide us to truth. I dont understand. Gays nor straight people have the upper hand here. I just wanna know if any of these people are willing to surrender to God NOT man but what God says to them.

This comig from someone who knew I was gay, lived a gay lifestyle went back to Christ, got married to a man had a child went through a horrible depression for trying to be something I wasn't now I'm back to being gay and an atheist...I will not go back to a god who represses people

@kookoo78 im so sorry for your experience but I do not serve a God who represses people. I may not be gay or have struggled with that lifestyle but Ive have many life issues of my own that fought with the church body and ive been tempted to leave on many occasions. But I know, despite what the world is looking like or telling me, that there is a Creator of the skies above and the earth that im in. There is a God who understands this battle of slavery that we all go thru and wants 4 us freedom.
