I love the eyes... I loved them on the Beast but now as a prince he is freaking handsome.
But somehow I feel a little awkward... a sort of unsatisfactory when he transforms. You get used to the Beast and you get to like him and now he is so different :P
the ending song "tale as old as time" i belive it's called was playing at my cousin's bonding ceremony!!! my gran gran at first didn't want to go (becasue they're both boys) but she ended up crying rivers when they were dancing to that song!!! xD but it was very beautiful!!! :)
When Gaston says "Belle is mine" his mouth movements don't fit the words. The original line was supposed to be "Time to die" but before the release of the film they changed it to put belle back into the equation because it was supposed to focused on her not death of the beast
I dont get it I cry everytime I watch this scene..... I mean the Beast doesnt even die... he lives its a happy ending... WHY THE f**k AM I CRYING????? god i love this!
@mjtballs Because it's emotional man. I mean after the whole battle , and then the Beast finally see's Belle that music 0:35 heightens the emotion. Then when Gaston does die , it's like ``Wow.'' 0-0. Then when Beast is on the ground dying , it's like ``No! You guys are mean't to be together. Don't die!'' and also Belle has the Judy Garland syndrome , I mean listen to the way she is asking him to not go 2:15. ;_; I mean heavy stuff. Of course when he finally does come back ;)
@jaguar4u2012 Well, think about it - Beauty and the Beast could very well take place in France. "Belle" and "Lumiere" are French after all + 5.40 - "mon ami"
@jaguar4u2012 It's "Isaac Newton". And people generally use Einstein or No shit, Sherlock as the expression, but interesting choice of Newton from your side. Congratulations.
I remember watching this as a little girl and falling in love with the story and it is by far my favorite movie ever. This movie is the reason why my first daughter is going to be named Belle <3
They ran out of time and/or money at the end of this, and grafted overlays of Belle and not-Beast onto the characters in the dance scene at the end of Sleeping Beauty. XD
I'm 17 and I still cry my eyes out with The Lion King, Pocahontas and Beauty and the Beast, among others! This video already made me cry like a baby, only Disney can do that after watching its movies three thousand times. Disney you're unbeatable!
Belle is my favorite disney princess. She was smart, beautiful, kind, and held her own! She save her father, and just now saves beast too. She did some sort of dumb things like running away and getting attacked by wolves and showing everyone the mirror, but not only are those not completely stupid they show she's got two dimensionality. The newest disney princesses are adorable and I love them but I think the writers are mistaking feminism for perfection.
i was glad Gaston died or whatever happened, i didn't like him if i remember rightly, haven't seen Beauty and the Beast in ages, but when it comes to Disney theres no such thing as too old
This and Tangled are without a doubt the best animated movies of all time. Thank U Disney for bringing back my childhood. Is it me or does the death scene in BatB look exactly like the one in Tangled.
If you stop producing this genre, I will reproduce the Hollywood Shootout at your headquarter, demanding that you return your product direction to the classical 90's.
@johnmaruszak It appeals to people of all ages. I've watched it all throughout my life and i think i will still be watching it 40 years from now. I am 24 : )
I just realized i sounded like the guy from the old spice commercial at the end lol - I'm on a horse. : )
Isn't Mrs. Potts a little 2 old to have a 5 year old and a bunch of other little kids? Remember, she made Chip go into the cupboard at one point w/the rest of his brothers and sister? WTH? I've always thought that. I'm just saying...
@LForse The Beast also supposedly just turned 21 after 10 years of enchantment which would have made him all of 11 years old when he first met the enchantress and got cursed. The ages are a bit messed up in this film for some reason.
On the other hand, Mrs. Potts might not actually be that old. Notice how when Lumiere slaps Cogsworth with his glove, Cogsworth's wig flew off his head. It's possible that Mrs. Potts is a middle-aged woman who happened to wear a white wig, which isn't too bad.
I JUST saw the whole movie in spanish (my language)... and cried like a baby. And now I saw this short final scene, and started crying all over again!!! @_@
