So when a candidate like Bush or Romney get 200 million in contrabutions and thus don't need to qualify for matching funds and have more freedom their real agenda is things like those tax cuts though the campaign will focus on things like gay marriage. Yet, the very voters, the sweet old religious people, will likely lose their retirement money so they should clearly vote for Romney and guys like Bush as in the end it was a completely illogical type of thing to do as they ultimately lose out
In other words, the issue is how about the Mormon church or anything like that. It is issues like would Romney extend the Bush era tax cuts? Yes he would. Look at the tax structure of the 90's and the rich paid more and essentially decided 'we the people' would pay more 'our fair share' but can't straight out say that. So they pick and back a candidate and in the end the one issue that truly matters is things like those bush tax cuts as = 700 billions.
Romney is not 'of the people'. Unless you mean extremely wealthy people and the corporations that provide them with extreme wealth, organizations like Sallie Mae, that is who you really voting for. What corporations do you want in office. Right now its Goldman Sachs as our President elect. With Romney, who is his chief donors, those are who will dominate if he wins. He'll be a Yes man, much like Bush was elected with the agenda for lowering taxes on the rich (ie bush tax cuts).
Our nomination field is very limited. They should do away with primaries and open the field to anyone who wants to run and do a single general election and yes you might get 26 candidates, some of which you might call 'crack pot' or some unemployed guy (who legally can be president) and guys like Romney would have to compete with them and surprisingly some might do quite well as the people would recognize someone of their own class vs someone like romney even if that person has some wealth

Romney is a nobleman (ie a guy who is richer than most rich people, aka 250 mil) and is clearly of the 1% and wants to lead the nation with a wink and a nod to the rich as a leader of 'all americans'. The housing bubble was not caused by Frank or Dodd, the mortgages issued under the Community Reinvestment Act only accounted for 25% of the bad mortgages, and they were actually safer investments than the ones not issued by CRA.

So when a candidate like Bush or Romney get 200 million in contrabutions and thus don't need to qualify for matching funds and have more freedom their real agenda is things like those tax cuts though the campaign will focus on things like gay marriage. Yet, the very voters, the sweet old religious people, will likely lose their retirement money so they should clearly vote for Romney and guys like Bush as in the end it was a completely illogical type of thing to do as they ultimately lose out

In other words, the issue is how about the Mormon church or anything like that. It is issues like would Romney extend the Bush era tax cuts? Yes he would. Look at the tax structure of the 90's and the rich paid more and essentially decided 'we the people' would pay more 'our fair share' but can't straight out say that. So they pick and back a candidate and in the end the one issue that truly matters is things like those bush tax cuts as = 700 billions.

What corporations do you want in office. Right now its Goldman Sachs as our President elect. With Romney, who is his chief donors, those are who will dominate if he wins. Our nomination field is very limited.
