I like this recipe. I am glad that you said that you could add to it. I do have some cognac that I think will work well with this. Good Job. Thanx for the video.
lol at 2:02, "and then..if you want to..but you don't have to..but i want to..so i'm going to.."
That kinda had rhythm to it. You could be a rapper...call yourself Lil' Vitale or something. :D hehe I'm kidding. Seriously though, good recipe as always! :)
@jwhittle91 it is just lil bits of orange you can use a micro plane to grate it or the little holes in the grater but on this recipe she is not using zest which she corrects herself in the video but instead the peal so peal the orange and use a little pealing. I hope I helped
i love your style and sense of fashion along with your cooking skills/...u shud do some fashion videos also :) or at least let us know from where do you get your ever stylish wardrobe...love love love your channel..i have tried some of the recipes and gathered so many complements ...thanks...
Dear Laura! :D I have a question..: Whenever you bake muffins or cupcakes, do you put your oven to fan or conventional..? Because yesterday i tried to make pumpkin cupcakes (not your yummy recipe though :) ) ad i put my oven to conventional, but it was a disaster!! they were hard on top and raw inside :x could you plz plz answer??? :D love your videos!! xxx
@eliiike if you're gonna use conventional you're oven should be 25 degrees than the recipe calls for me for example 350 F then it should be 325 F. My school has a conventional oven and thats how we do it. :)
@LauraVitalesKitchen Oh, then what is the difference between apple juice and apple cider? Where I live apple cider is an alcoholic beverage with bubbles in it (made out of apples of course) and if you further distil it it becomes 'Calvados'. It is made in Normandie, a part of France.
Apple juice is filtered and pasteurized (looks clearer than cider) but apple cider isn't. Cider can be pasteurized or non-pasteurized depending on where you buy it. In the states if there's alcohol in it we call it hard cider so you know you won't give it to kids. There's another variation called sparkling cider which is carbonated but isn't alcoholic. Apple juice is sweeter than cider (which has a tangier taste).
@AmayaElika I personally don't really like it. It is very strong in the alcohol department and has a very 'woody' flavour, like whisky. It is great for cooking though :D The most common Calvados recipe is one for pancakes.
Indeed. Your cooking appears to be really european (you're italian). And I'm so glad, as a french person, that you teach american people how to cook a muffin elsewhere then out of a cake mix box. Am so glad, that your recipes and techniques and gesture are yet easy and precise at the same time (remember the pizza dough) and the way you just teach the rest of us new stuff. As a advanced cook i didnt know about the roasted garlic! Thank you! Keep it up to the best, as usual.
@LauraVitalesKitchen apple cider, in europe at least, contains alcohol, not too much, only like 4% but still.. anyway, the alcohol here, if any would have cooked off. thanks for the recipe laura =) <3
@RachelLoviex It can actually contain as much as 12 percent :D That depends on how long you store it and how sugared the apples were to begin with. A few years back I got a tour around an old French Calvados-farm and the farmer explained it all. He even let us taste everything (from one day old to twelve years old). Now is actually the perfect season for 'brewing' because all the apples have fallen off the trees by now.
L'automne est magnifique pour la région de Normandie :D
@LauraVitalesKitchen Oh sorry, I didn't read the other comments before my last comment. It seems Cider in Europe is different to the American version. That is where the confusion lies. Either way I hope you keep the amazing recipes coming!
@richardsonXOXO Excuse me? I am very sorry, but I find this response very offending. People who ask questions to learn from others are not dumb in my opinion.
@jokevedehaa She said 'apple cider' not 'Hard apple cider' which is the one that contains alcohol. Apple cider is fine for people of all ages to drink.

@nicholecliche i think that was the point because the cinnamon sticks add the "spice"
